Plastic Crates Set in 1:35 scale from Matho Models — a larger package of miniature crates for richly filled stores, ramps and the beds of vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
Plastic Crates Set from Matho Models is a combined set of miniature plastic crates in 1:35 scale, the larger package from this manufacturer's range of crate accessories. These are diorama props, not a kit of equipment. You will appreciate a greater number of crates at once the moment a scene needs a real heap: a few pieces look like decoration, and only a pile looks like a working operation.
The set will fill the ramp of a wholesaler, a supply yard, a market hall or the whole bed of a truck. Stack the crates into columns of varying height, interleave them with cardboard boxes and pallets and leave a few pieces lying about nearby; it is precisely the imperfection that makes a scene alive. In modern military subjects the set will serve in the stores of bases, in supply and in humanitarian scenes.
With a greater number of crates variety of color is the key: alternate rich shades, red, blue, yellow, green, and mix the colors up within the individual columns. A satin matte surface will imitate plastic and a diluted dark wash will bring the ribbing out. Give a few pieces a faded or scuffed look so that the heap does not come across as uniform. Dust pigments at the bottom will visually settle the crates into the terrain.
A diorama accessory; the base models, figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
