Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set from the Star Decals brand in 1:35 scale. According to the name it covers the varied make-up of the equipment of the Polish units in the Italian campaign between 1943 and 1945: tanks, a half-track vehicle, a jeep and armored cars. The contents are printed markings; you build the models separately.
The Polish corps fighting in Italy came about by a complicated route through the Middle East, and its soldiers returned to Europe after several years spent away from home. It went down in history above all for the fight for Monte Cassino in May 1944, where, after several unsuccessful attempts by Allied units, it took the monastery hill. The fighting for Ancona and the advance all the way to Bologna followed. The corps' equipment came from British deliveries, so the vehicles carried the British system of tactical numbers and insignia, supplemented by Polish unit insignia of their own. It is precisely this combination that is interesting for a modeler. The same Sherman or armored car looks quite different with Polish markings from one in a British unit beside it.
The set aims at several different types of vehicle, so it pays to lay out in advance which markings you will use on which model. Wheeled vehicles and the jeep have small areas and many edges, so seat them in smaller parts and preferably with the help of a softener. Unify the base with gloss varnish and lock the finished markings in with a matte varnish. Read the directions on the packaging before applying them.
