A figure of a Polish armored officer of 1939 in 1:35 scale, to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
In September 1939 the Polish armored units faced the attack on their country with equipment of both domestic and licensed manufacture, from TKS tankettes to 7TP tanks. The fighting was short, but the mark it left was all the stronger, and 1939 is one of the favorite subjects of modelers looking for something other than the later Western Front.
The figure represents an officer of the Polish armored forces in 1:35 scale. It is supplied unpainted and is intended to be assembled by the modeler. The pose and the breakdown of the parts are described in the manufacturer's instructions.
First clear the parts of excess material with a sharp blade and sand the seams after joining, filling them if needed so that they do not interrupt the folds of the clothing. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold on the surface. It pays to work from a thin base coat through the basic tones to the shadows and highlights, leaving the face and hands until last. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; cyanoacrylate glue holds reliably.
The figure will please modelers who build Polish equipment of 1939 or who want to give a diorama scale and a story. Painting a figure in 1:35 scale is rewarding work even for a moderately advanced modeler.
The package holds the figure only. A model of a vehicle, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
