Metal tracks Pz.III/IV 36 cm (in use 1938/1941) is a set of workable white metal replacement tracks in 1:35 scale from Friulmodel. The set is intended for the early 36 cm track of the Panzer III/IV (the 1938/1941 period). It is not a model but an accessory replacing the kit tracks.

A set of workable white metal replacement tracks in 1:35 scale from Friulmodel. It is not a model but a set of cast links that replaces the original plastic or rubber tracks from a plastic kit. The set is intended for German tanks of the Panzer III and Panzer IV families with the early narrow track 36 cm wide, used in the period from 1938 to 1941. Wire for connecting the links is usually part of the set.
You exchange the metal links for the tracks from the original kit. The gain is a realistic sag of the run over the road wheels, metal weight and sharper cast detail than on plastic or rubber. The assembled tracks stay workable.
The tracks are put together link by link and joined with pins made from the enclosed wire. A needle file, small cutters and a pin vise the diameter of the wire are usually enough. This is the early narrow track, so check whether your version of the Pz.III/IV matches this type. The finished tracks blacken and weather well and stand up to a wash and pigments. It is an accessory for more advanced modelers.
The set contains metal tracks to be assembled. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
