An injection-molded plastic kit of the Pz.Kpfw.38(t) Ausf.G light tank with a full interior in 1:35 scale from Dragon (the Smart Kit line). Its main asset is the completely detailed inside of the fighting and engine compartments including a fully broken-down engine, which makes it possible to build the model with the hatches open and show off the internal equipment. The one-piece hull, produced by slide-mold technology, has detail on the outside and the inside, and the kit is completed by a large photo-etched fret. The subject is a light tank of Czechoslovak origin (the LT vz. 38 design), which the German army took over after the occupation of Czechoslovakia and used under the designation Pz.Kpfw.38(t). It was reliable and mobile and in the first years of the war it made up a significant part of the German armored forces. The Ausf.G version had its frontal armor increased to 50 mm and was built in 1941 and 1942. The chassis of the vehicle later became the basis for tank destroyers and self-propelled guns.
Build a model with an interior thoughtfully — first paint and emphasize the inside of the fighting compartment and the engine, and only then close the hull (or leave the hatches open). Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched items with cyanoacrylate. A wash and drybrushing bring the interior to life, while the outside takes a filter, a wash of the engraved lines and dust pigments. Decide in advance which hatches you will leave open so that the detail shows.
