This resin set holds a set of replacement road wheels for the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank in the Ausf. E to H versions. It is not a kit of the tank but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from your kit with more faithfully cast parts, with a sharper profile to the rubber tire and to the hub cap. The set is intended for the Dragon kits.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War and the only one that stayed in production throughout the conflict. On the Ausf. E to H versions the road wheels were paired steel wheels with a rubber tire, carried in bogies along each side. An accurately cast tread and the detail of the central bolts give the suspension a realistic look.
First wash the parts free of release agent residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Put a filler primer on before painting; bring the rubber tires out in a darker color and weather the suspension with dust and mud pigments.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
