Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links for the Soviet heavy artillery tractor Voroshilovets. It is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic or rubber tracks from the boxed kit. The links are joined with metal pins into a fully workable run with a convincing weight and a natural sag, which stands out particularly well on heavy vehicles.
The Voroshilovets was a Soviet heavy tracked tractor of the Second World War period, intended above all for moving heavy guns and for recovering armored vehicles. Thanks to its massive chassis it could haul even the heaviest loads across country. The set replaces its robust track faithfully.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. On a tractor, the bowing of the run and heavy mud on the running gear come into their own with weathering.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
