A detailed plastic kit of the German StuG IV assault gun (Sd.Kfz.167) in the early production form, in 1:35 scale from the maker Rye Field Model. This version differs from the basic edition in its full internal interior - it holds a well worked-out fighting compartment with the gun, the crew stations and the internal equipment of the hull. Workable tracks assembled from individual links go with it. It is a kit of the highest standard for demanding modelers.
The StuG IV was a German assault gun from the end of the Second World War, which combined the proven gun superstructure with a 75 mm gun with the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. It came about to supplement production of the StuG III and served for direct fire support of the infantry as well as being an effective anti-armor weapon. The early form answers to an earlier production state of the vehicle.
Assemble and paint the complete interior before you close up the hull and the superstructure - the inside is out of reach later. Paint the workable link-and-length tracks separately and fit them at the end. Use liquid cement on the plastic, go over the surface with primer and spray with an airbrush. The interior comes out well with shading and a wash, the exterior with dust and mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
