Nozzles in the closed position have a smaller outlet diameter and a different geometry of the petals than open nozzles. Resin castings offer finer and more faithful detail than simplified plastic. First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove any remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the cut faces lightly. They are bonded only with super glue (cyanoacrylate), because cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Sanding resin creates dust that is harmful to health, so work with protection of the airways.
