1:35 Sd.Kfz.232 (8Rad) is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for plastic models of the German heavy eight-wheeled reconnaissance armored car in 1:35 scale. It is a brass accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings thin photo-etched brass parts for detailing a model of the German Sd.Kfz.232 heavy eight-wheeled armored car in 1:35 scale. They replace heavy plastic sections and add grilles, fenders, brackets and the fine structure of the large frame antenna. It is an accessory for more advanced modelers; the base kit and glue are not included.
The Sd.Kfz.232 (8Rad) was a German heavy eight-wheeled reconnaissance armored car of the Second World War. The version with the 8Rad suffix had drive to all eight wheels and carried a prominent frame antenna for long-range radio communication. That antenna and the busy exterior are ideal subjects for photo-etched rendering.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends with a bending tool. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and spray it with primer. We recommend assembling and fitting the large frame antenna last, so that it does not get damaged.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. It requires a separately bought Sd.Kfz.232 (8Rad) kit in the matching scale. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
