A resin set from the Slovak brand Armour Models with twelve wheels with a chevron tread for models of the American GMC CCKW truck in 1:35 scale. The castings have a pronounced tread pattern and replace the plastic wheels from the basic kit.
The GMC CCKW was the legendary American all-wheel-drive truck that formed the backbone of Allied supply during the Second World War. Tires with a chevron tread belonged to the period look of the vehicle; a complete set of twelve wheels also covers the dual rear wheels.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut them from the casting blocks, taking care to keep the circular outline. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a realistic effect the tire can be dusted with pigments after varnishing and the tread picked out with a dry brush; optionally a slight flattening at the contact patch can be suggested.
The set contains resin wheels only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
