A sheet of decals in 1:35 scale for models of the T-34/85 medium tank in Soviet service, designated as the third part of the series. It is not a kit or a resin accessory: it is a set of markings that gives a model tactical numbers, emblems and inscriptions. Check exactly what the sheet depicts against the illustration on the packaging.
The T-34/85 is the late development branch of the Soviet T-34 medium tank, with a larger three-man turret and an 85 mm gun. The division of labor in the crew improved fundamentally as a result, because the commander no longer served the weapon. Machines from different plants differed in the shape of the turret casting, in the design of the hatches and in small details on the hull, so even two kits of the same type can be built as visibly different vehicles. The markings are then the last step, which assigns a model a particular identity.
The base must be smooth and glossy, otherwise a white veil (silvering) stays under the decal, so spray the area with gloss varnish. Cut the design out as close as possible, dip it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to slide freely. Moisten the spot, slide the decal off the paper, fine-tune the position with a brush and draw the excess water off. On intricate areas and rivets use a softener. Once dry, spray the model with a matte or semi-matte varnish, so that the edges disappear, and only then do washes and pigments.
It is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the package.
