A single resin figure of a Soviet assault engineer in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. The figure represents a member of the elite assault engineer units of the Red Army and is designed in a modern way with fine draftsmanship. The package contains cast resin parts without paints or glue.
The Soviet assault engineer-sapper brigades were specially trained and equipped units intended for breaking through fortifications and for fighting in towns in the later part of the war. They tend to be associated with a characteristic steel breastplate, which gave them protection while attacking at short range. The figure thus fits into dioramas of the fighting of the years 1943 to 1945.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and try the joints. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), sand with respiratory protection and apply primer. Paint the Soviet field dress in natural khaki and olive tones; bring out any metal breastplate with a dark metallic shade and light wear on the edges.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a display base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
