An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-10M heavy tank in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The model offers a richly broken-up tub and turret, individual (link by link) tracks and photo-etched parts. The T-10 was a Soviet heavy tank of the Cold War and the last stage of development of the KV and IS line of tanks (also known as Object 730). The T-10M version of 1957 was improved: it was given the longer M-62 gun with a five-baffle muzzle brake, heavy KPVT machine guns of 14.5 mm caliber, infrared night vision and protection against weapons of mass destruction. It was the peak of Soviet heavy tank design, replaced in service only by conceptually newer main battle tanks.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the individual track links before the hull is closed up. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with super glue. Soviet tanks carried a uniform green finish - once the primer and the paint have been applied, bring out the panel detail with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments to the running gear and the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
