A resin detail set of stowed load and equipment for a model of the British Lee/Grant medium tank in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that adds rolled tarpaulins, crates, packs and other field equipment to the hull and the fenders, giving a model a lived-in, desert character.
Lee and Grant were the British designations of the American M3 medium tank, with a 75 mm gun in the hull and a 37 mm gun in the turret. In British service they played a significant part in North Africa, where their crews routinely packed the vehicle with supplies and equipment for the long marches across the desert.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and place them according to photographs of the period. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Tarpaulins, leather straps and crates come out well with different shades and a fine wash.
