Responsibility details are not available.
A water-thinnable acrylic modeling paint from the aircraft range of the AK interactive brand. The shade mauve belongs among the violet-toned colors that appeared in German aircraft camouflage of the First World War, whether on mottled and streaked schemes or on printed fabric covering. It is an acrylic, not a lacquer or an enamel, so it has its own chemistry and its own thinning. Violet pigments are generally among the less opaque ones, which is why it pays to apply several thin coats rather than one thick one; the paint then holds better on the edges and does not flood the engraving.
For modelers who devote themselves to aircraft of the First World War and do not want to mix violet tones themselves. Mixing a credible mauve from ordinary paints is a thankless job, because the result easily slides either into pink or into blue. A ready-made shade from the aircraft range removes that problem, and it also suits modelers who paint parts of printed covering in the same tone.
Do not mix the paint with enamel or lacquer products; ventilate while spraying and use a respirator.
