1:35 Stowage set for StuG III G (winter)

PANZER ART 1:35 stowage for the StuG III G, winter

An accessory for modelers of military vehicles in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand. The set contains the stowage that a crew carried on the hull and the superstructure of the StuG III assault gun in the G version: tarpaulins, crates, jerrycans, personal kit and other items, this time in winter form. The vehicle model is not included in the package. It is precisely loaded kit that turns a clean model into a vehicle at war. Without stowage a model looks like a drawing; with stowage, like a photograph.

The real subject

The StuG III was the most numerously built German tracked fighting vehicle of the war. Crews commonly loaded onto it whatever they needed: spare track links, jerrycans, tarpaulins and looted supplies, because in the field the space inside the vehicle was counted in centimeters. In winter, blankets, camouflage tarpaulins and whatever was meant to protect the crew from the frost were added.

Use

• wash the parts before gluing and let them dry completely
• try the arrangement dry first; stowage should look practical, not decorative
• glue with cyanoacrylate and take care that the parts bed onto the surface
• paint them separately from the vehicle, otherwise you will not reach the parts under the stowage
• complete a winter scene with a white overspray, which rubs partly off the kit

The set is intended for modelers who build dioramas and scenes. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
