This is a detail accessory set, not a stand-alone model. It combines an exactly turned metal barrel for the short 75 mm StuK37 gun with a faithfully cast resin mantlet for the early versions of the StuG III assault gun, Ausf. A to E, in 1:35 scale. The manufacturer is PANZER ART.
The early versions of the StuG III (Ausf. A-E) carried the short 75 mm StuK37 L/24 weapon intended mainly for direct infantry support. The short barrel and the characteristic mantlet are typical of these first assault guns and set them apart from the later long-barreled versions. The set reproduces this appearance faithfully.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and gates and dry them. Before painting, give both the metal barrel and the resin a coat of primer; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory for an existing kit, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
