An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.G self-propelled assault gun in the popular 1:35 scale from Tamiya. It is a proven set famous for its excellent buildability and accurate fit of the parts, which make it suitable even for less experienced modelers who want to build a classic German machine.
The StuG III was among the most widespread tracked fighting vehicles of the German army in the Second World War. It was based on the chassis of the Panzer III tank and carried its gun in a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret, which simplified production. The Ausf.G version was the most numerous variant; with a 75 mm gun it served as an assault gun and as an effective tank destroyer.
First assemble the running gear and the lower hull, and only then the superstructure. Consider applying an imitation of Zimmerit, which late machines often carried. After the base color and the varnish under the decals, add washes and pigments, because mud and dust effects on the running gear will do the vehicle a great deal of good.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
