T-34 Beutepanzer Schürzen 1:35 from PANZER ART — a resin set of Schürzen, the side armor skirts, for a captured T-34 tank in German service.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART representing the side armor skirts, in German Schürzen, for a captured Soviet T-34 tank operated in German service as a Beutepanzer. This is not a tank model but a detail accessory that faithfully captures the add-on protective plates.
Captured T-34 tanks were put back into action by the Germans during the Second World War under the designation Beutepanzer. Schürzen were mounted on the sides of the hull as added protection against anti-tank projectiles and rounds. The set is treated neutrally, as a modeling detail.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin and thin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces, using respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; the dents and rust on the plates come out well after pigments and a light wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Using it requires the matching base kit of the T-34 tank.
