This accessory from the Armour Models brand captures the cast spoked road wheels that appeared on T-34 tanks at the end of the war. It is not a kit of the tank but a separate set of wheels with which the modeler replaces the parts from the box so that the machine matches a particular production period. The name is given in Slovak, which goes for the rest of this line as well.
The road wheels of the T-34 went through a number of forms during the war: from all-rubber ones through steel ones with internal springing to the cast pattern with pronounced spokes. It is the shape of the disc that is one of the first details by which a specialist can tell which production batch a machine comes from and where it can be placed in time and place. The year 1945 in the name refers to the late pattern, usual on machines of the final battles.
Fit the wheels only after the running gear is finished, so that they can be lined up in one plane; a crooked axle is immediately visible at this size. Leave the rubber tires in a dark tone and unify the discs with the color of the hull, then soften the transition with a dark flowed effect. On the treads a fine abrasion of the metal and a deposit of dust will come out, because the wheels are usually the dirtiest part of the whole machine in photographs.
