Friulmodel 1:35 T-44M / T-54 mod. 1949 and related equipment is a set of workable white metal tracks that replace the plastic tracks of a kit and imitate a real track faithfully.

The set contains individual white metal links that are threaded onto the supplied wire and joined into a fully workable track with a realistic sag. It is a metal replacement for plastic tracks, not a model of a vehicle. The set covers the common track type of the Soviet postwar family – the medium tanks T-44M and T-54 (model 1949) as well as the engineering and towing vehicles built on a related chassis – in 1:35 scale.
The medium tank T-54 became one of the most widespread tanks of the postwar era and, together with the modernized T-44M, it came out of the Soviet design school of the end of the 1940s. A whole range of special machines was built on the related heavy chassis: the artillery tractor AT-T, the trenching and engineering machines BTM-3, the dozer BAT-M and the drilling and digging machine MDK-2M. These vehicles served for decades in armies around the world.
Clean the links of flash, arrange them into two tracks and join them with the threaded wire forming the pins; secure the joints with cyanoacrylate. Blacken the metal by bluing or spray it with a primer and paint. A realistic weathering is created with washes and pigments, which hold on metal very well. Assemble the track directly on the running gear of the model, so that it seats correctly.
This is an accessory (replacement tracks), not a complete model. The vehicle kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
