A set of photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale for the model of the Soviet T-60 light tank in the Plant No. 37 form, cut for the Mini Art kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-60 is a Soviet light tank from the beginning of the Second World War. A crew of two, a low hull and simple construction made it possible to start production even in works that had not built tanks before, which is why machines from the individual plants differ from one another in detail. The Plant No. 37 designation distinguishes one of these production forms. What is most visible on a model are the thin plates of the fenders, the grilles over the engine compartment and the small tool clamps, that is, precisely what cannot be molded thin enough in plastic.
A set of photo-etched parts for the model in 1:35 scale, according to its name cut for the Mini Art kit. A photo-etched fret is a thin metal sheet with an etched pattern and scored lines for bends, so it replaces exactly those parts which on a plastic component are necessarily thicker than they should be. The extent of the set and the order of the steps are given in the instructions from the manufacturer.
The parts are held in the fret by small tabs. Cut them with a sharp blade on a hard surface; do not break them out, or the part will twist. Make the bends along the etched score in a bending tool or between two steel rulers, taking the whole edge at once. They are glued with super glue applied on the tip of a toothpick, not straight from the bottle. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a thin base coat, as paint otherwise will not hold on bare metal and rubs off during handling.
A set of photo-etched parts is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
