A set of self-adhesive masking templates 1:35 T-72B1 with holographic film from the manufacturer SX-Art. An accessory for the kit of the tank, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks in 1:35 scale for the main battle tank T-72B1, supplemented according to the name with holographic film. On armored vehicles that film is used to imitate the lenses of optical instruments, the periscopes, vision ports and sights that on the real vehicle change color with the angle of view. It is not a kit, but an accessory for a model.
The T-72B1 is a version of the main battle tank T-72 from the family of modernizations of the B line. The vehicle has a cast turret with add-on armor, a gun of 125 mm caliber with automatic loading and the low silhouette typical of the Soviet design school. The road wheels have rubber tire bands, which are separated from the disc when painting, and the turret and hull alike are dotted with vision ports and blocks of instruments, exactly the places where a ready-made mask and an imitation of glass pay off.
Spray the running gear before you cover it with the tracks and the fenders. Let the base coat cure, press the mask down all around with a toothpick and spray several very thin coats. Put the holographic film in right at the very end, after the wash and after the pigments, because otherwise it clouds over and the effect disappears. Cut the film with a sharp scalpel to the actual shape of the vision port and press it down with clean tweezers, so that no prints stay on it.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
