A Hauler 1:35 photo-etched set for the T17E1 Staghound Mk.I with rocket launch rails is an accessory for a plastic kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right. It completes the vehicle with thin-walled metal elements that a plastic molding cannot render faithfully. The target kit is from Bronco.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet of photo-etched parts is prepared for the Bronco plastic kit of the armored car, in the version completed with launch rails for unguided rockets. The set makes up no model by itself; it is an addition for the modeler who already owns the kit. The particular composition of the sheet is given on the maker's packaging.
The T17E1 Staghound was a four-wheeled armored car of American production, introduced with British and Allied units. On some of the vehicles improvised armament appeared in the field in the form of rails for unguided rockets of 60 pounds, that is, roughly 27 kilograms, originally meant for aircraft carriage. It was a modification carried out at unit level, not a factory standard, and it was used for firing at area targets.
Prepare the finest elements, such as the rails and their struts, first, while the sheet is whole and the parts can be held by the frame. Run the bends exactly along the etched line, or the edge will go wavy. For the thinnest joints solder is cleaner than glue, because super glue in such a place will create a visible drop. Degrease the finished assembly, spray a primer and only then paint, and keep the weathering on the metal sparing, so that the structure stays legible.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
