Building and painting tips

Cut the parts off the fret with sharp photo-etch scissors or cut them out with a scalpel on a hard surface; never break them out. Bends are more accurate in a bending tool, and steel etching calls for somewhat more pressure than brass. First let the belt run between your fingers or draw a round tool along it, so that it takes on a soft sag; a straight belt looks like wire. They are glued with super glue or epoxy; cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Fit the belts into the interior before you close the hull up — after that you will no longer reach the seats.
