A resin model of the American M1937 field stove in 1:35 scale from the production of the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel. It is a diorama accessory, not a model of a vehicle, but it is exactly such small things that turn a nice diorama into an exceptional one.
The M1937 field stove (field range) was standard equipment of the field kitchens of the American army during the Second World War. The portable stove made it possible for cooks to prepare hot food practically anywhere, in the rear, at field camps and briefly behind the front as well. Hot food was fundamental for the morale of units, and so the M1937 stove accompanied American soldiers on every battlefield from North Africa to the Pacific.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The basis is the olive green of the American army; a stove used in the field quickly acquired a patina, however, so imitate the knocked edges with the chipping technique, suggest smoke discoloration around the burners and complete the whole with a wash and pigments. It looks splendid in combination with figures of cooks and the utensils of a field kitchen.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, the parts are of resin. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
