Trumpeter 1:35 T72E1 steel tracks (early) for the American M24 Chaffee light tank is a detail accessory with assembled tracks for building a military model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detailed add-on set contains individual plastic track links of the T72E1 type in the early form, which imitate the steel tracks of the American M24 Chaffee light tank in 1:35 scale. It is not the tank model itself but an accessory that raises the fidelity of the running gear.
The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank of the end of the Second World War with a 75 mm gun and a low silhouette; it served in the postwar period as well. The steel tracks of the T72E1 type make up an early variant of the running gear and differ in the shape of the links from the later types.
Clean the links up, assemble them around the drive sprocket and the idler wheel and let a natural sag form. Glue with plastic cement. Support the metallic character of the steel tracks with a dark base, metallic pigments and abrasion on the contact surfaces.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
