The M1130 CV is the command variant of the American Stryker family of wheeled armored vehicles in an 8x8 layout. Compared with the carrier version it is fitted with extended communications and control equipment, so the hull and the sides carry more antennas, brackets and stowage features. The vehicle shares the basic hull and the drivetrain with the rest of the family and differs above all in its internal equipment and external fittings.
On command versions most of the added parts are small: antenna brackets, consoles, eyes and clips. Those are precisely the ones most easily lost from the fret. So work over a light-colored surface with a raised edge, never over a carpet, and pick the parts up with tweezers with rounded tips, because sharp tips shoot a small photo-etched part away. Before cutting one off, always check in the instructions where it belongs, because once cut out it can no longer be traced back by its number. It also helps to cut off only as many parts as you are gluing at that moment. Dispense the glue through the tip of a needle and wipe away any excess at once, so that a tiny part does not drown in it.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit and is not a standalone model. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
