A set of painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the kit of the German truck V3000S in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but an accessory that makes the clean painting of the glazing and the wheels easier. The masks are cut from thin self-adhesive film and follow the shape of the parts, so trimming and taping fall away.
The V3000S is a German three-ton truck of the Second World War period, built in large numbers and used to carry troops and supplies alike. It had a roomy cab with a large glazed area and heavy wheels. Half-tracked conversions of it were built as well.
The masks cover the glazing of the cab and the tires, that is the areas that are hardest to mask by hand. The result is a crisp border between the glass and the frame and between the rubber and the wheel rim.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
