An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Velorex three-wheeler in 1:35 scale from the Czech brand Art Scale. It is a limited edition made with short-run technology; besides the plastic parts the package contains clear parts for the glazing and the lights, 3D-printed wheels, decals and instructions.
The Velorex is a famous Czechoslovak three-wheeled, later four-wheeled runabout with a characteristic tube frame and a fabric body, designed as an affordable means of transport, including for drivers with disabilities. It became a legend of Czechoslovak motoring in its own right.
A short-run kit calls for more careful cleaning up of the parts and dry assembly before gluing. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, and wash the 3D-printed wheels before gluing and lightly sand them if needed. The fabric body is best brought to life with a matte or satin coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
