German 20 l triangular jerrycans 1:35 from PANZER ART: twelve resin castings for a diorama or for the stowage of a vehicle. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set in 1:35 scale contains twelve German twenty-liter cans of triangular shape from the period of the Second World War. It is an accessory for a model and for a scene, not a kit. Twelve pieces are enough to fill the brackets on the fenders, to make a pile by a field workshop and to load the bed of a truck.
Besides the well-known flat can, the Wehrmacht also used a container of triangular section with a bail handle. The shape suited the corners of a load bed and the container could be carried comfortably, alone or by two men. The cans were carried for fuel and for water and were told apart by the markings on the side, so they belong to the equipment of German vehicles as naturally as a shovel or a spare wheel.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no mold release agent is left on them. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and true the surface with a file, and use respiratory protection while sanding. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. After priming, lay down the base shade, lighten the edges carefully and let a dark seeping coat into the pressings. Scuffs on the edges are best done with dry-brushing or with a sponge.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
