This is a resin accessory, not a model. The set contains castings of period transport boxes for the ammunition of the short 7.5 cm KwK 37 gun (fitted in early Panzer IV tanks) and the StuK 37 (in early StuG III assault guns). The boxes serve as loaded cargo on vehicles, as equipment for artillery positions or to liven dioramas up.
The short 7.5 cm KwK 37 / StuK 37 gun (L/24) was an infantry support gun with a low muzzle velocity, used in early versions of the Panzer IV tank and the StuG III assault gun. The ammunition was carried and stored in characteristic wooden and metal boxes, which this set reproduces.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You will liven the boxes up with different shades of wood and metal, with lettering and with wear on the edges; a slightly haphazard stack on the cargo bed also looks realistic.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
