Eduard Zimmerit Sd.Kfz.166 Brummbär 1:35 is a photo-etched Zimmerit set that imitates the anti-magnetic coating on the German Brummbär assault vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched Zimmerit set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale, intended for detailing a model of the German assault vehicle Sd.Kfz.166 Brummbär. The formed photo-etched parts imitate Zimmerit faithfully: the paste-like anti-magnetic coating with which German vehicles were protected against magnetic mines in the Second World War. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory that takes the place of lengthy hand-texturing of Zimmerit.
The Brummbär, designated Sd.Kfz.166, was a German heavy assault vehicle built on the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. In an armored superstructure it carried a large-caliber howitzer intended for direct fire support and for destroying fortifications in urban fighting. This heavily armored machine was built in limited numbers and was used on both the Eastern and the Western Front.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
