Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a kit of a single aircraft but an accessory set of small plastic models intended for equipping ship models in 1:350 scale. It holds Japanese shipboard floatplanes which during the Second World War served on battleships and heavy cruisers for reconnaissance and for spotting gunfire, and with them launching catapults. There are four Type Zero reconnaissance floatplanes, three Type Zero observation floatplanes and three Type 95 reconnaissance floatplanes, together with three catapults. Photo-etched parts and decals are also included in the package.
An empty catapult deck shows on a ship model at first glance. The set makes it possible to furnish it with period-appropriate machines and to add the catapult as well, which in the basic boxing of a ship tends to be simplified. Because the aircraft are molded separately, you can arrange them to suit yourself: some of the machines on the catapults, some stowed on the deck or in a handling position. The set suits models of Japanese battleships and heavy cruisers in 1:350 scale.
For modelers who are building Japanese warships in 1:350 scale and want to equip them with shipboard aviation. Working with parts of this size calls for a steady hand, a sharp knife and patience, but the result adds markedly to the credibility of the model.
The set does not hold a model of the ship or paints and glue. It is an accessory for a model you already own.
