An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian strategic ballistic missile submarine Vladimir Monomakh of the Borei class in 1:350 scale from Zvezda. The model captures the characteristic rounded hull of a modern nuclear submarine. The large 1:350 scale gives the finished model an impressive length as well as room for detail.
The Vladimir Monomakh is one of the nuclear ballistic missile submarines of the Borei class (Project 955). These are strategic vessels with nuclear propulsion, intended for long patrols and for carrying intercontinental missiles. The hull is shaped for quiet running and for operating at great depth.
The hull is usually built from two halves, so take care over a clean fit and sanding of the parting line on the smooth surface. The model can be built as a full hull on a stand or as a waterline version. We recommend a uniform dark base coat with an airbrush, fine shading of the panels and a matte coat at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
