The set holds six miniature injection-molded models of the SBC carrier scout bomber in 1:350 scale. It serves as an accessory to a model of an American aircraft carrier - you can place the aircraft on the deck or in the hangar. Decals with US Navy markings are included.
The Curtiss SBC was a single-engine biplane with retractable landing gear that served as a carrier scout and dive bomber of the US Navy in the second half of the 1930s. It was one of the last combat biplanes of the US Navy before the arrival of all-metal low-wing monoplanes.
The struts of the biplane are very fine in this scale, so work with tweezers and liquid cement for plastic. For the period finish, gloss yellow upper wing surfaces and the colored fuselage bands of American carrier service work well. The models can also be painted while on the sprue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
