A combined package of accessories for a model of the American battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
USS Iowa (BB-61) was the lead ship of the American battleship class of the same name, that is of the last big-gun ships the US Navy built. The main armament consisted of nine 406 mm guns in three triple turrets. During the Second World War she served in the Pacific, later returned to service for the Korean War and finally in the 1980s after an extensive modernization. Today she is a museum ship.
The item is a set, that is a combined package of accessories for one ship, and it is intended for a model of USS Iowa in 1:350 scale. Which individual sets the package brings together and which kit it is designed for are stated in the manufacturer's instructions; it pays to reach for them before you start building, because the accessories are worked in throughout the whole build, not only at the end.
Proceed section by section of the ship and finish each completed stretch straight away, or you will get lost among the small parts. Paint the deck and the superstructures before the finest parts go on them, the parts a brush will no longer reach past. Use cyanoacrylate applied in a minute amount for gluing, ideally with a pin. Lay the small parts out beforehand on a light surface from which tweezers will lift them safely.
The package suits a modeler who is building the Iowa in 1:350 scale and wants the accessories in one place rather than assembling them from individual sets. It is an accessory to a kit; the model itself, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
