The C3 WRC White shade covers what takes up the largest area on a rally machine. White is not decoration here but the ground on which the rest of the livery only then comes about, so the final impression of the whole model follows from it.
On a rally car a light body carries the race numbers, the names of the crew, the logos of partners and the orientation stripes that are meant to help a spectator pick the car out in a corner. That is exactly why the C3 WRC had white as its predominant tone, complemented by red and gray.
