905 Evo White comes from the white carried by the Peugeot 905 sports prototype, the winner of the twenty-four hours at Le Mans in 1992 and 1993.
Responsibility details are not available.
On the Peugeot 905 white made up the base on which the blue and red items of the team livery and the markings of partners only then rested. The rally look of this car cannot be put together without it, and every attempt at a shortcut shows on a finished model. A light surface at the same time gives away every flaw beneath it, so it pays to spend time preparing the parts.
The Peugeot 905 was a sports prototype built for the rules that replaced the turbocharged Group C era in the world championship with naturally aspirated engines of 3.5 liters. The French V10 was technically related to the single-seaters of the day. The Evo development version received markedly reworked aerodynamics with a high-set rear wing, on account of which it earned a nickname after a helicopter. The car won Le Mans twice in a row, and in the second of those editions it brought the brand complete command of the podium. The prototype reached the modeling range mainly in the scales in which endurance cars are most often built.
For builders of endurance prototypes who want a clean white as the starting point of a whole build and to build the rest of the color scheme only from there. The white surface on the prototype was complemented by dark blue and red, that is the colors of the then main partner of the French brand.
