Quattro Rally White is the white of the works Audi quattro rally cars, the machines that brought permanent four-wheel drive into rallying.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light body with colored stripes is so characteristic of the rally quattro that the car is recognized by it even in a blurred period photograph. It is exactly this surface that holds the whole graphics together and sets how a finished model will look.
The Audi quattro entered the world rally championship at the beginning of the 1980s and was the first to establish permanent four-wheel drive in earnest. Within a few seasons it turned out that on gravel and on snow its advantage was so great that its rivals had to rethink the concept of their cars. Hannu Mikkola and Stig Blomqvist collected victories with the quattro, and Michèle Mouton became the first woman to win a round of the world championship with it. Development culminated in the shortened version for Group B with massive downforce items. The duel with lighter rivals driven by the rear axle was among the most closely followed periods of this sport of all.
For modelers who build the rallying of the 1980s and want to start from the right light base, because the whole period look of the car rests on it. With this subject the white cannot be got around, as it takes up the largest part of the body. The light surface of the car was divided by diagonal stripes in the colors of the main partner and by a dark grille with auxiliary driving lights.
