F2002 Red from Number Five

The F2002 Red red belongs to the high period of the Italian formula stable at the start of the millennium. The bodies of the cars of that time were smooth and slim with a minimum of breaks, so the color creates long continuous transitions on them and its tone is seen in full. On the real subject the red was complemented only by white fields on the wings and by dark areas around the cooling openings, and otherwise the body stayed one color.

The F2002 entered the 2002 season late, only after the opening races, and from that moment it practically found no master. Michael Schumacher took the title with it by a large margin, Rubens Barrichello covered his back, and the car was still used at the start of the following year. Its design included an exceptionally slim tail and a low-set gearbox, which gave the aerodynamicists room its rivals did not have. That is exactly why the F2002 is still named among the best formula cars of all.
