Number Five RB Metallic Night Blue

This is a modeling paint from a specialized line of shades for car models. The metallic, deep blue tone comes from the livery of the Red Bull formula cars. The paint is on a lacquer (solvent) base with finely ground pigments and metallic particles, so it is thinned with lacquer thinner and not with water. It is supplied in a bottle of 30 ml and is ready to spray with an airbrush at once.

Use

• Stir the paint thoroughly before use and while spraying, as the metallic pigment settles at the bottom.
• Metallics come out best on a smooth, evenly prepared base; apply them at the end, as they are harder to overspray and to mask.
• Meant for application with an airbrush; it adheres to plastic, resin, photo-etched parts and white metal.
• If need be, thin it solely with lacquer thinner of the same type, and clean the airbrush and the brushes with solvent, not with water.

For modelers building racing and road cars who want an exact metallic factory shade without mixing. Because of the lacquer base it will be appreciated above all by more advanced builders used to working with an airbrush.
