A set of three-dimensionally printed and already colored interior on decal paper for the Mi-17 helicopter in 1:35 scale from Quinta Studio. Raised instrument detail with finished printing lifts the cockpit of a large helicopter to a level few would reach with a brush, and it is nearly as easy to work with as ordinary decals. The decals are shaped to the parts of the Trumpeter kit.
The Mi-17 is the export designation of the upgraded Mi-8MT, a twin-turbine medium transport helicopter that is among the most widespread types in its class in the world. With more powerful engines and characteristic dust filters, the machine serves in dozens of armed forces from Asia to South America and has taken part in practically every conflict of the last forty years. Machines of this family have also flown for many years with the Czech Air Force.
Paint and smooth the base under the application so that the detail adheres well. Separate the individual elements step by step, place them with tweezers and let them dry thoroughly; finally unify the whole with a coat of flat varnish. Go from the largest areas to the smallest, so that the small panels fit comfortably into the assembly too. Unlike ordinary decals, no decal softener or setting solution is used here; it would attack the printed resin.
