This set of color self-adhesive 3D decals serves to detail the interior; it is not a kit. A flexible film with raised color elements replaces the instrument panels, the side consoles and other details of both cockpits of the F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter from the Hasegawa kit in 1:72 scale. The manufacturer is the Kelik brand.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American two-seat carrier fighter with a variable-sweep wing. It served above all to defend carrier groups at long range and carried a powerful radar with long-range guided missiles. The A version was the first production variant of this iconic aircraft.
The elements are carefully popped out of the sheet and stuck onto the matching surfaces of the cockpits. The film adapts to gently curved surfaces; degrease the surfaces and press the element into the detail with a soft cotton bud. Check in the manufacturer's instructions whether a decal softener may be used with it, because manufacturers tend to be cautious about softeners on printed elements. The color detail is created without any painting.
It is an accessory for a model, not the kit itself. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
