About product

Luftwaffe wheel chocks, 1:48 (77propeller)

A set of two 3D-printed resin wheel chocks, which were used under the wheels of aircraft on airfields to secure a machine against movement. It is not a model but a scenic accessory that suits Luftwaffe aircraft such as the He 111, the Ju 88 or the Bf 110.

What the set is for

It brings an airfield scene or a diorama under a standing model of an aircraft to life and gives it a realistic context. The chocks can be placed by the main landing gear and complemented with other ground crew equipment.

Tips for working it

Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports off and clean the surfaces up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The wooden or metal look of the chocks comes out once they are painted and lightly weathered.

Who the set is for

  • builders of Luftwaffe aircraft and airfield dioramas
  • modelers who want a realistic context under a model
  • anyone interested in fine 3D-printed accessories

This is an accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
