1:48 Gnome-Rhône 14M - 2 pc. engine for French or German WWII airplane is a set of French radial engines for models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Art Scale brand brings the French Gnome-Rhône 14M radial engine worked out for 1:48 scale. It is a replacement power unit for a build, not a standalone kit of an aircraft; you will use it where the engine is to be visible.
The Gnome-Rhône 14M is a fourteen-cylinder two-row air-cooled radial engine of a smaller diameter, which in the 1930s powered a whole group of French twin-engine machines, among them light bombers and reconnaissance aircraft. After 1940 its production came under German control and the units found further use in German machines as well. Thanks to its small frontal area it suited slender engine nacelles, and that matters for a build: the space is narrow and an exposed engine stands out in it.
The cylinders and their finning will take a dark base and subsequent drybrushing, after which the detail comes out. The plumbing and the wiring can be added with thin wire, so that the unit does not look bare. Before gluing, try fitting the nacelle cover dry and check how much of the engine will be visible in the end; decide according to that where to spend your time.
The package does not contain a kit of the aircraft, paints or glue.
