This item from Artwox Model is deck covering for an assembled model of the British battleship HMS King George V. You are not buying a kit but a detail modification, after which the upper deck stops looking like one uniform plastic area. The cut is calculated for the Airfix 08203 kit.
The King George V entered service at the end of 1940 as the first of her class. She carried ten 356 mm guns in two quadruple and one twin turret, which was an entirely unique arrangement among the battleships of the day. In May 1941 Admiral Tovey commanded the final phase of the pursuit of the Bismarck from her, and her salvos were among those that silenced the German ship. She closed the war in the ranks of the British Pacific Fleet and in September 1945 she lay in Tokyo Bay.
First try the position on the model without joining anything permanently and mark reference points for yourself. Make the cuts with a new blade, so that the edges stay sharp. Once it is fitted, let the surface rest and only then go on painting the superstructures. Gently bringing out the gaps moves the look toward real wood, and at the end protect the surface with a matte varnish.
