SX-Art F-111A Aardvark painting masks 1:72 are self-adhesive pre-cut masks for cleanly painting the glazing and other elements of this tactical bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive, precisely cut painting masks from SX-Art in 1:72 scale intended for the American F-111A Aardvark tactical bomber. The masks allow sharp and clean painting of the framing of the glazed cockpit and of other circular and transparent elements without the lengthy business of taping by hand.
The General Dynamics F-111 was a two-seat American tactical bomber with a variable-geometry (swing) wing and a crew sitting side by side. The basic F-111A version entered service in the late 1960s and excelled at low flying in any weather thanks to its terrain-following radar.
Stick the masks onto degreased and dry glazing, press them down carefully around the frames and spray thin coats of paint. The sharpest edges come from an airbrush. Once dry, remove the masks carefully so that you do not tear off the fresh paint.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints and the kit are not included in the package.
