1:72 CH-47A interior 3D decals is a three-dimensional decal set of the interior fittings of the CH-47A Chinook transport helicopter in 1:72 scale from Kelik.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory adds legible interior fittings to a small model of the twin-rotor machine. The elements are not flat but have a shape of their own, so once seated they resemble real panels and seats better than mere drawing does. The helicopter itself has to be obtained separately; this is the cabin fittings alone.
The first production form of the Chinook entered service in 1962 and made its greatest mark in Southeast Asia. The machines carried troops, guns and fuel drums and often hauled damaged hardware out of the field. The interior matched the practice of the day: fold-down benches along the sides, bare structure and an instrument panel full of round gauges without a single screen.
A dry run up front shows where you can still reach once the fuselage is glued and what has to be dealt with earlier. Seat the elements on a completely cool and dry finish, otherwise the surface is easily damaged. It pays to add a light dark shadow in the corners of the cabin, because at a small scale that helps create an impression of depth. Clean and polish the glazing before gluing it in, so that scratches do not spoil the result. Try the ramp and the side doors in the open position in advance.
